Recently submitted for Planning approval - this proposal for a single dwelling, built atop an existing garage structure is within the Nottinghamshire Greenbelt and directly adjacent to a stream (flood risk).
The design of the building is a direct response to the site context; views, sun path, neighbouring properties and the flood risk area. The lightweight timber structure is orientated 7 degrees North to maximise the view toward farmland and for solar gains to the interior of the property.
