OUR APPROACH
We understand that planning a new project can seem daunting. At YARN Architecture,
we pride ourselves on being able to respond intelligently to the needs of our clients and can guide you each step of the way.
Stage 0
An initial consultation to meet you, look at the property and to help us fully understand what is required to define the scope of works.
Stage 3
The initial drawings are refined & altered until you are happy and further details are added.

At this stage we prepare and submit the Planning Application to the Local Planning Authority. We act as your agent during this process and handle any queries for a successful outcome.
Stage 1
This entails a full measured survey of the property, followed by the production of the existing drawings and site model
Stage 4
Following successful Planning Approval, the design is developed further into a robust technical pack of Building Regulations drawings. This is co-ordinated with the Structural Engineers design and calculations.
This package of information is then submitted to Building Control (application process ) to attain approval for the Construction works.
Stage 2
The initial design proposals
(concept design) are produced.
We will carry out a number of design options & layouts and meet to discuss which options to take forward.
Stage 5
Following both statutory approvals, we can help obtain quotations for the Construction phase by preparing tender pack and issuing to local Building Contractors.

At this stage we help with preparations in getting the project onto site and can assist throughout the Construction process to completion.
