The brief for this (circa 2002) new-build home was to create a dedicated Hallway, a WC, a larger living room and Kitchen / Diner for entertaining.
Rather than extending on multiple sides, we first looked at the existing layout and noticed the garage was a large, underused, space right at the core of the property. By converting this space and extending to the rear we were able to transform the interior layout completely to provide room for a growing family.
